Hosted by: Hudson River Valley Art Workshops Greenville, NYUnited States
Explore many ways of constructing a painting through merging collage elements with paint acting as the integrating element. Using water-based paint as the basis for the over all composition, start building, layering and merging elements to create an abstracted and expressive interpretation of your subject.
Emphasis will be on interpreting rather than copying, simplifying detail and shapes, and embracing creative opportunities for unexpected results. Find your creative voice as you discover how various media work together and what processes best align with your vision and goals. Leave this workshop with strategies for going beyond traditional realism through combining media for a more personal expression.
